Wine, Red or White?

Just the other weekend, my husband and I went shopping for wine and liquor for the coming Christmas day and Boxing day. In both days unlike the past years, we will be having dinner on both nights (usually we only do the 25th.) This year I’ll be preparing Christmas dinner at home, while the second day, I’ll be cooking for a friend and her family…we will also join them for the evening. And I’m planning to bring a bottle or two of wine.
Since my husband was also looking for business gifts for his clients he opted to include them in our shopping list. He bought cases of white wine, red wine, merlot, chardonnay, riesling too. But all wine we had to get from the city’s top wine dealer.They surely know the wines, the type of grapes that were used, the soil they grew on..etc. Every information that was by clients were given. I’m just glad that they know what they’re talking about because my husband’s clients are so happy with their respective wines. Some of them even now the wines they got!
I guess when choosing the right wine, professional opinion does matter.
