We've been having good sunny weather in Holland , or at least on our part of the land, that my husband and I simply grab every opportunity we get to bike around. We live in this little ísland' surrounded by water and it's just wonderful to go around it by bike, I of course am always carrying a camera because you'll never know what you come across with, right?

If given a chance to turn back time, I would want to be a kid again. No worries. No problems. Just spend the day playing, sleeping, eating and then play some more! Don't you ever wish for that? But I believe that in all of us is a kid, no matter how old we become this kid will always be there. A friend who is married to a pilot asked my advise regarding what to give her husband for his upcoming birthday. It was a real problem for her because her husband specifically told her not to waste her money on gifts: 'I have everything, I have you' he told his wife. Aww, how sweet!

Once again I consulted COOK with Jamie: My Guide to Making You a Better Cook to find a simple fish meal. I wanted my husband and father in law to try something else than their favorite beef or pork meal. In Jamie's book I found on page 222 the perfect fish meal for us. The verdict: husband and dad in law loved it, so did I. It was the first time to make it but certainly will not be the last.
The recipe calls for asparagus but since it wasn't the season yet and I didn't want to get those avail

I do not really have an idea what to post since I've written my last entry. It really has brought me a bit down BUT I am back! I have decided that I shall continue writing , 'will be posting images of meals I have prepared ...and will also continue sharing my thoughts.
Anyway, it's 2 days before Valentine's day and I still have to find the perfect gift for my husband. Though he considers February 14th a highly commercialized day and shouldn't be celebrated, what a scrooge ha ha ha! But he's

Holidays are over now comes Valentines day! Have you ever wonder where the days gone? Anyway, Valentines day is pretty much just around the corner, and I wonder if you guys ( I mean you, gentlemen) already know what to get your ladies for this occasion? I know, I know, that some of you think that Valentine's Day has become to commercialized and even wondering why people celebrate it. Why roses or any flowers suddenly become expensive on this day and why the fuss on perfume stores? Did you know g
