Belgian Waffle

Date November 15, 2007

Back in April together with two bloggers/friends, we went to Antwerpen, Belgium to visit a museum and just enjoy the day. Actually I was there for the shopping, window shopping that is. One of us was already talking about eating Brussels waffle ( more known as Belgian waffles in the United States) while we were still seated in the train heading for our destination.

To be honest, I’ve never had mine, ever…so I was also looking forward eating one.
We visited first Ruben’s House, had lunch, window shopped and then finally by pure luck, we walked past this tiny store that sells flavored Brussels Waffles. We ordered the usual waffle. So how was it? Chewy which I liked and a bit too sweet.. but chewy (have I said that already?)

For Euro1,60 a piece, I say it was worth traveling 45 minutes from my place just to get them waffles again.
