A better care for the elders

Date January 10, 2008

Old couples with no children are sometimes left with question who would take care of them when the not so agile years come? Couples, like myself and my husband who do not have children are sometimes also left with a question by people we know, who will take care of you when you grow old? At least if you have children, they can look after you. Which I am now tired of giving my view that it isn’t the children’s responsibility to take care of their elders. Fine if they do but if they choose not to, then that’s why you have care homes these days.

People need not worry about their future, the ripe age future. There are available help for the elders that are readily available once arranged in advance. To find the right home for you on your ripe age or your parents who will be needing it, just check out bettercaring.com where valuable informations are provided about taking care of people with special needs through home care and all the home care assistance that are needed. I am an Asian married to a dutch gentleman, residing in Holland. There is no way that I’m a good cook, in fact I only started to cook few years back, in the year 1999 actually, when I gave my ‘ja’ word to the dutch gentleman on our wedding day *smile*. Now I enjoy spending time in my kitchen especially when there’s something new to try, new to experiment. here....
