QUICKIE BISQUICK

tweaked recipe from eatocracy & alton browns.

INGREDIENTS:
2 1/2 cups all purpose flour + more for kneading
1/2 tsp salt 2 tsp sugar or less
1 tbsp baking powder
1 bar butter unsalted very cold.cubed
1/4 cup cold milk 1/4 cup buttermilk or half & half

PROCEDURE: pre-heat oven at 425 degrees
1.in a food processor or your ninja (it can easily hold this recipe try two batch if you wanna make more) put all ingredients except the milk.
2 pulsate for couple of times then add the buttermilk & half half lil by lil. look for a “look” of a dry cottage cheese.
3. in a flat surface dust it with a lil flour then pour the loose dough then just knead the dough till it gets all incorporated.dont overknead.
4. with a rolling pin roll it then fold it then roll it then fold it. at fourth fold wrap it in a syran wrap then put it in the freezer for a minute or two just to get the butter solidify again. then do the same procedure at the fourth fold use a cookie cutter. then just knead the remaining and make more biscuits
5. bake for at least 10-15 minutes or until it gets golden brown serve hot with butter or honey like how my babygirl eat hers’.
