Ice cream on White Chocolate sauce

While trying to find an entry for this weekend’s La.Pi.S, I came across this old recipe of mine, a dessert I prepared on Christmas 2006. Ice cream was bought from a grocery nearby, while I only baked the chocolate ‘pasta’ and made the sauce which was the highlight of this dessert! It was my first time to make it (well, most of my Christmas dinner) and I must say that my dinner companions really liked this sauce.
* Chocolate sticks: just mix flour, cocoa powder, egg and sugar, refrigerate the pasta that’s formed for about half an hour, cut in thin long slices and bake in the oven, set aside…continue here for the recipe and easy method.
Have a wonderful week ahead, fellow foodies!

Such a “sosy(al) saucy” entry – hehehe! And what’s even more amazing is that you did (most of) it yourself – idol! These types of “saucy” are what I really like – yum!

White chocolate originates from the cocoa (cacao) plant, but it is not ‘chocolate.’ According to the FDA, to be called ‘chocolate’ a product must contain chocolate liquor, which is what gives it the biter intense chocolate flavor (and color) to dark and milk chocolates.

I’m just wondering, how do you suppose this should be called? You offer chocolate goodies on your website where you call your white products ‘white chocolate’ . I think you’re contradicting yourself a bit, perhaps?
