La.PI.S: Go Green!

Beautiful Ms. Ces of Lasang Pinoy Sunday invited me 10 years ago (so she claims *lol) to join La.Pi.S -”Is a themed weekly FOOD PHOTOGRAPHY meme, PINOY style.” but I really didn’t had the time nor enough food pictures that’s why I wasn’t able to join in. But now, well I shall try to take as much as food photos as possible so…I’m in! *Yey!*

Go Green is this Sunday’s theme so here’s my contribution, not that fresh because obviously we do not grow coconut trees in Holland but this was taken during a beach vacation in Thailand.

This green is one source of clear, refreshing and medicinal liquid that I drank a gallon/ day in the past when I suffered from UTI (urinary track infection… despensa por favor, I hope you’re not eating anything right now :P ) I got the juice for free then since next to our store was a coconut vendors. They were just throwing the juice away and only using the meat. My luck!

Go Green, join us this week and the coming weeks!

Coconut is a very good, considering galing ito sa Tree of Life. Yun lang, ginagawa nang coco lumber ang mga ito dahil patatayuan ng subdivsion o mall ang mga lupaing pinagtatamnan.Kalungkot.

Gone were the days when you can just ask for a buko juice. Wala na rin yatang libre sa Pilipinas. Buko juice is peddled everywhere. :)

Miss ko na yang buko, lalo na pag me halong pandan water (pinagpakuluan ng pandan leaves). Talagang nauubos ko nun isang galon sa isang upuan…
I tried canned coconut dito, parang lasang peke….tinapon ko…
