Eating tocino, not the usual way

Tocino sprinkled with Thai fried garlic, Fried kikkoman rice with ham and green peas.

I have posted this image on my photoblog but I’ve decided to post this here as well on my foodblog. I think I have mentioned (posted) about this sweet pork or what we call Tocino in the Philippines, twice already here, but this isn’t about recipe ( but if you want to see my recipe for tocino, kindly click this) , it’s about other way of having it with garlic rice. You see, I grew up eating tocino always with garlic rice, be on breakfast, lunch or dinner. But since my Dutch husband also likes the taste of tocino and would request it often, I figured that I had to come up with other ways of serving it, even of eating it.

This was it. What do you think, my dear fellow Pinoys? Isn’t it fun to have it like this? I sure like it :)
