"Who is the Chef?"
“Wie is de chef?” (or “Who is the chef?”) is becoming a popular television program in The Netherlands. Even my husband who isn’t fond of such show is now patiently waiting for the program to start each and everyday. Wis is de chef is about four people who love to cook coming together, take turn to cook a complete dinner for each other. But only one of them is a professional Chef and the rest must guess who among them has the title. Because most participants are true kitchen and cooking lovers, sometimes it’s even difficult to guess which is the chef. Unfortunately, the show tells the home viewer right from the beginning of the program who is what, otherwise it would have been much fun to really guess as well!
Anyway, since shows are shot in all participants’ home, there you’ll see inside their homes and what they have in their kitchens. Some really just blow me away (or make me jealous, geez!) when I see their enclume potracks! It’s been my dream to have a hanging enclume pot rack that is made of brass which I think will be perfect for my small semi-island-kitchen that I myself designed. Out of curiosity I browsed the internet for some enclume potracks and I ended up in this website that offers all types of potracks, dreamy!!
Now if only I can really really cook, know how to match my courses with wine and have beautiful brass hanging pot rack to show, I’d enlist myself in this program!
