Me: Wat wil jij vanavond eten? (what do you want to eat tonight?)
Husband: Knoflook rijst met zoete vlees en gebakken eiren (garlic fried rice & fried egg with sweet pork/ tocino)
Me: weer? (again?!)
Husband: ja, waarom niet? (yes, why not?)
Me: komt goed voor elkaar ( ok, for short *lol*)

We're having a rather strange Sunday today. It started this morning when my husband called up his father and heard from the older guy that he didn't sleep will, with pain in his eye and feeling of nausea. We all know the symptoms too well so we immediately called up the Sunday doctor who was on duty to expect us because we need to bring my father in law in. Some six months ago this occurred too for the first time and it was an onset of glaucoma. An eye disease that is treatable, but unfortunatel

HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE! ESPECIALLY TO MY FRIENDS IN THE UNITED STATES!
We do not celebrate Thanksgiving in Holland thus no Thanksgiving spread for me to post. What I have here was my husband's request and what we had tonight. He wanted Boerenkool Stamppot ( Curly Kale with mashed potatoes, a typical dutch meal) with worst (Dutch sausage) and that's exactly what he had. Only I wasn' t able to take shot of his plate. I can still send nice cards this Christmas and I don't have to just buy them from bookstore. Photo Christmas Cards!
I am glad to find this website: christmascardsdirect.com where photos I made can be

Weeks ago my bestfriend Christa invited me out (as a birthday gift for me) and brought me to Den Bosch, a Dutch city full of history and really wonderful to go to. We started the day out with this Bossche Bol. Chocolatey and humongous in size, see it beside my cup of cappuccino?
I'm pressed for time now, but I shall find the english wikipedia of the city and tell you more about it. See you next time!

If given a chance to turn back time, I would want to be a kid again. No worries. No problems. Just spend the day playing, sleeping, eating and then play some more! Don't you ever wish for that? But I believe that in all of us is a kid, no matter how old we become this kid will always be there. S how's the kid in you doing? *lol* Mine wants to play and missing her playmate..my almost 3 year-old nephew whom I met for the first time last summer when I visited Asia. Oh that boy is lovely and lively!

Winter is here! That means soup soup soup is always the day's order. I don't really mind what kind of soup as long as it's warm!
I just finished cooking this macaroni soup with minimum ingredients that I found in the ref. Luckily I had chicken breast, Dutch sausage, Chinese cabbage, cabbage and elbow macaroni, so I just quickly sautéed some garlic and onion then placed it in the boiling chicken bouillon where I previously boiled the breast. Macaroni was cooked according to the package. All in
