Who doesn't like popcorn?! I'm yet to meet a person who doesn't like popcorn. Oh wait, yes I do know someone. Because he's wearing braces *wink*. Well anyway, aside from my CORNy joke, I love popcorn. A bucket good for two people is what I usually bring inside the theater during movie dates with husband or my best female friend. Yep! The last time I made this was in 2005. Why that long time ago? Because making this isn't easy, in my honest opinion. Unlike in the Philippines where you can order the pre-made wrapper, here in The Netherlands I have to make them myself and that usually takes my entire afternoon. Imagine if I need about 60 pieces of wrappers, extra thin, that cooking requires low heat...wont that make you think twice to make it? Lunch on Saturdays is always in Rotterdam. I was surprised when my husband told me he wants to eat Japanese food. Surprised because normally when I suggest that we have Jap food, he'd turn me down because the thought of seeing raw fish appalls him. I had a quick lunch with my single friend last week which was rather nice. I just posted earlier how I wanted to learn to bake because it really is one thing that I am not quite good in. I don't know why but I just don't trust myself 100% when it comes to mixing flour with other ingredients, especially I don't trust myself to make cakes!
