This was similar to my ESTOFADO, recipe I shared back in January 12, 2005. In a way it is because ingredients are almost the same. Except for the method of cooking that I've tried for the first time and for sure will not be the last. Because the meat was so tender this time that friends who came over for dinner thanked me 3 days in a row because they said they had the best dinner ever! Growing up in a family where practically all the grownups cook wasn't easy. Why? because of the downside which was overweight. Everyone's overweight. Even as kids, my siblings and I were overweight.
